Cut Flower Policy

Thank you for supporting Alley Cat Meadows! Our flowers are grown with care using organic practices, and each arrangement is crafted with attention to seasonal availability and natural beauty. Please read our cut flower policy carefully before placing an order or subscribing to our floral offerings.

1. Orders and Subscriptions

  • Single Orders: Each arrangement is created fresh from our garden.

  • Subscriptions: Weekly seasonal subscriptions are available. Subscriptions are filled based on seasonal availability and growing conditions.

2. Seasonal Availability and Flower Selection

  • Our flower palette is seasonally dependent. Specific colors and flower varieties are subject to what is thriving in our fields at the time of harvest.

  • Customers may request general color preferences, but specific varieties cannot be guaranteed.

  • All flowers are grown organically and cannot be guaranteed pest-free.

3. Weather and Crop Variability

  • Flowers are subject to weather, pests, and natural growing conditions. While we strive to provide consistent blooms, unexpected events may impact crop availability.

  • If weather or other natural factors prevent fulfillment of a subscription:

    • The remainder of the subscription will be automatically transferred to the next available growing season, or fulfillment will be added to the end of the current subscription when possible.

    • Alley Cat Meadows is not liable for delays or missed arrangements caused by natural conditions.

4. Pick-Up and Delivery

  • Pick-Up: All orders are available for pickup at Alley Cat Meadows.

  • Delivery: Delivery is available for an additional fee within the Hampton Cove, New Hope, and Owens Cross Roads areas.

  • If an order is not picked up or someone is unavailable for delivery, the arrangement will be donated to avoid waste.

5. Refunds and Cancellations

  • All cut flower orders are non-refundable.

  • Subscription adjustments or cancellations must be communicated at least 7 days in advance of the next scheduled delivery or pick-up.

6. Organic Growing Practices

  • We are committed to organic growing practices.

  • Our flowers may have minor imperfections due to the absence of chemical pesticides and fertilizers. These are a natural part of organic cultivation and do not affect the quality or beauty of your arrangement.

7. Customer Responsibilities

  • Customers should pick up or receive their arrangement promptly during the scheduled window.

  • Special requests for colors, arrangements, or flowers should be made in advance, but are subject to availability.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • Alley Cat Meadows is not responsible for loss, damage, or dissatisfaction caused by:

    • Weather or crop failure

    • Pest activity

    • Missed pick-up or delivery

    • Seasonal availability constraints

  • Our goal is always to provide the freshest, most beautiful flowers possible, but we cannot guarantee perfection due to the nature of live plants.

9. Miscellaneous

  • Flowers may vary slightly in size, shape, and color from photos or prior arrangements.

  • Subscriptions will resume with the start of the next growing season if interrupted by weather or crop issues.

  • By placing an order or subscription, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.
