2. Seed Information & Disclaimer

Our seeds are sold for lawful agricultural, horticultural, educational, and personal gardening purposes.It is the customer's responsibility to:Comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations.Ensure that any products purchased may be legally imported, possessed, and grown in their location.Alley Cat Meadows is a registered and inspected agricultural business operating in accordance with applicable Alabama regulations. We do not provide legal advice and are not responsible for a customer's use or misuse of any products purchased from our farm.

3. Seed Germination Disclaimer

Seeds are natural products, and germination rates may vary based on factors beyond our control, including:Growing conditionsSoil quality and fertilityTemperature and weatherMoisture levelsStorage conditionsPlanting methodsGrower experienceBecause we cannot control conditions after seeds leave our possession, Alley Cat Meadows does not guarantee germination rates, plant performance, harvest yields, or crop success unless otherwise stated in writing.

4. Dahlia Tuber Health & Viability Policy

Dahlia tubers are living plant material and naturally vary in size, shape, and appearance. Cosmetic blemishes, scarring, and variations in tuber size are normal and do not affect viability.All tubers are visually inspected during the growing season, harvest, storage, and packing process. We strive to provide healthy, viable planting stock and maintain sanitation practices throughout production.However, many dahlia viruses and pathogens may be present without visible symptoms. While we monitor our stock for signs of disease and remove plants showing obvious symptoms when identified, we do not laboratory test individual plants or tubers unless specifically stated. Therefore, Alley Cat Meadows cannot guarantee that any tuber is completely free of viruses, disease, or other pathogens.By purchasing dahlia tubers from Alley Cat Meadows, customers acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with growing dahlias and other living plant material.No warranty, expressed or implied, is made regarding:Virus-free statusFuture plant performanceBloom qualityProductivityOverwintering successSurvival after plantingClaims regarding damaged, rotten, or otherwise unusable tubers must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery and must include clear photographs of the product and packaging.Due to factors beyond our control, refunds or replacements cannot be issued for tubers that fail to grow, perform poorly, develop disease after planting, or fail due to weather, pests, growing conditions, storage practices, or other environmental factors.

5. Ordering & Payment

All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars (USD).Payment is required in full before any order is processed or shipped.We reserve the right to refuse, limit, or cancel any order at our discretion. If payment has already been received, a full refund will be issued for any canceled order.

6. Shipping Policy

Orders are generally processed within 2–5 business days unless otherwise noted.Shipping times are estimates only and may vary depending on carrier operations, weather conditions, seasonal demand, and destination.Once an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier:Alley Cat Meadows is not responsible for carrier delays.Alley Cat Meadows is not responsible for weather-related shipping delays.Alley Cat Meadows is not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, delayed, or mishandled by the carrier.Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information at checkout.

7. Shipping Area

At this time, Alley Cat Meadows ships only within the continental United States.We do not currently offer international shipping.

8. Returns, Refunds & Replacements

Due to the perishable and living nature of seeds and tubers, all sales are considered final.Refunds or replacements may be considered only if:The incorrect item was shipped.The item arrived damaged.The item arrived in unusable condition.To request a review, customers must:Contact us within 48 hours of delivery.Provide their order number.Submit clear photographs documenting the issue.Any refund, replacement, or store credit will be issued at the sole discretion of Alley Cat Meadows.

9. Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled prior to shipment.Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be canceled.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alley Cat Meadows' liability for any claim relating to products purchased from our farm shall not exceed the original purchase price of the product.Alley Cat Meadows shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from the purchase, use, or inability to use any products sold.
